How the QR flow works
The visitor scans the QR code at reception, enters required details, and submits the request. The system creates a visitor record and a digital pass, then updates the dashboard in real time.
QR check-in is useful when it does more than open a form. With GateGuard, each company gets its own visitor link. The entry goes to the correct workspace, the host can be notified, and reception can track the visitor status from one screen.

Reception does not need to read handwriting, search old pages, or call hosts again and again. The system shows the visitor, company, host, purpose, pass ID, and current status.
The visitor can be approved, marked in meeting, rejected, asked to wait, checked out, or completed based on the company settings and reception workflow.
Use these internal links to continue through the full visitor management topic cluster.
